About Me

I am a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at Northeastern University. My adviser is Prof. V. Lakshmibai.

My research lies at the intersection of algebraic geometry and combinatorics. In particular, I study Schubert varieties, their conormal varieties, Steinberg varieties, Springer fibres, orbital varieties, and Kac-Moody groups.

I am currently on the job market. Here is my Curriculum Vitae, my Research Statement, and my Teaching Statement.

I received my Masters from Northeastern in 2014. Earlier, I received a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2011.
